Russia fights to Berlin where Germans surrender and Hitler commits suicide. This marks the end for Germans and end of war in Europe. -
Japan's Surrender
After a long fight in Japan, America drops an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This forces Japan to surrender and marks the end of the war.
