The first people arived at New Zealand
New zealand was one of the last country's to be inhabited by people. The first people to arive in NZ were the polynesians and they arived between 1250 and 1300 -
Dutch explorer Able Tasman arrived in NZ
When Able Tasman came to NZ he recieved an aggresive and voilent welcome from the maori and four crew members were killed. Able Tasman left quickly and NZ was left untouched by the Europeans for a long time. -
Captain Cook came to NZ
Captain Cook came and mapped almost the entire coastline. -
Christian Missionary's Arived in NZ
The missionary"s came to New Zealand and converted nearly all of the maori to chritianity. -

There were over 600 musket wars and they killed 30,000–40,000 Māori. -
