Birth
I was born in Safford, AZ and raised in Clifton, AZ by my grandmother through most of my childhood. -
Introduction to Music
After getting my first guitar for Christmas, I became more and more interested in music. Taking guitar lessons was only the first step towards becoming a musician. -
Joining the Band
I joined the Morenci High School Pride Band my freshmen year and had the best year of marching band I've had so far. Because I was attending another school during the time of auditions, I was left to play cymbals in the drumline. But I still had more fun than I could've imagined. -
Moving to Thatcher
I moved to Thatcher, AZ towards the end of my freshmen year and finished the year out there. Because I wasn't able to finish the year in Morenci with all of my friends, I lost interest in school and failed half of my classes. -
Drivers License
Getting my drivers license was the start of a much larger responsibility and more freedom. Until I got my license, I would walk everywhere and honestly, I sometimes miss it. -

Working in Washington
During the summer, I worked and lived with my uncle in the San Juan Islands. I worked for a litle less than two months at his fine dining restraunt, McMillins, in Friday Harbour. We went on quite a few trips off island to Seattle and by the time I was headed home, I had saved up $1,500 -
1st Day of Senior Year
The begininng of my senior year was a big realization that after this year is over I'll be out of school and on my own. I can make my own decisions and choose my own path if I pass all my classes to get the rest of my credit. -
Flowing Wells
The Flowing Wells marching competition was the last competition that I marched at for my senior. Out of the many times I've played all throughout the years, I don't think there has been a peformance the I'm more proud of. -
EAC Honors Band
I was recently picked out of all of the percussionists to go to EAC Honors Band where schools from all over the state will be coming to practice and perform music together. I'm going to be able to see old friends and meet new ones.
