    1. I moved from Sevierville to Gatlinburg
    2. I got to move to a new school

    4. I learned a lot from my history, geography, and government classes in high school

    4. i took several classes that gave me a better knowledge base for scoial studies

  • First Practicum experience (professional)

    1. my fist chance to work in a classroom on a professional level
    2. It was a wonderful experience with an amazing teacher
    3. I learned so much from Mrs. Green during my practicum. This was one of my most memoriable placements.
    4. Mrs. Green helped me understand that I need to understand ehat level each of my students is on and use that to my advantage

  • Started working at Sevier County Board of Education (professional)

    1. My first full-time job
    2. This was my first full-time job ever and I was able to work in a setting that I loved!
    3. I learned so much valuable information and real life skills from this job
    4. I learned many different approaches to teaching social studies to many different grades while I worked at Catlettsburg Elementary.

  • I started at Carson-Newman (professional)

    1. Starting of a four year college
    2. I had tried a couple other universities, but they just were not good fits. When I started at C-N i felt a rush of relief
    3. This has been an amazing experience and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my college education
    4. I have learned many vaulable tools while here at C-N
