This is when the American colonies stood as one against Britain. The revolution started from the constant taxation of the colonists, and fueled their desire for independence. Which lead to the revolution. -

On June 2 John Adams declared the declaration of independence. July 4 congress approves the declaration. August 2 the Declaration of Independence is signed.by 56 delegates -
America Builds
Now that the US has their independence they begin to build they're government economy army and all the essentials of a running country. -

No longer constrained by Britain laws american colonists begin to spread west. This includes the Louisiana Purchase which let colonist reach the mississippi river. With a goal to reach the pacific ocean. -

In 1810 Britain begins stealing ships and crewmen for their navy and put a blockade on the US in 1812. On June 18 1812 US declares war on Britain.
