The war was between the British and the boers. The Boers used smart tactics and the british burned their farms and treasures. The war got very vilent between them and finally the war was won by the British in 1910. -

After the berlin Conference in 1884-85 the Europeans were slowly gaining control of Africa. Eevery country wanted a piece of the resource filled country that they could use as more profit for themselves.
