    This battle took place near the Dogger Bank in the North Sea between squadrons of the British Grand Fleet and the Kaiserliche Marine. this battle is important because the Germany had hoped to seize and search all fishing boats and destroy any small warships.

    This battle was fought between Russia and Germany, this was Germany's biggest win over Russia yet. This war almost led Russia's army into complete destruction. The Germans won because they intercepted a message about Russia's strategy.

    this war was fought in west flanders belgium. the British stopped the germans during this war but at a very high cost. 56,000 casualties on the British behalf. the battle is important because its the first time germans used poison gas.

    The aim of this deployment was to assist a British naval operation which aimed to force the Dardanelles Strait and capture the Turkish capital, Constantinople. The Australians landed at what became known as the Anzac Cove on 25 April 1915 and they established a tenuous foothold on the steep slopes above the beach.

    The Battles of the Isonzo were a series of twelve battles between the Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies in the World. Italy won the war because it could focus all its forces on Austria-Hungary while Austria had to divide their forces up. The purpose of the war was to drive Austria away from there defensive positions.

    The importance of the battle was it stopped Germays warships and stopped all action in the north sea.
