In March 1917, the Russian Tsar lost control first of the streets, then of the soldiers, and finally of the Duma, resulting in his forced abdication on 15 March 1917. Due to war, and other issues the Russian citizens faced. -

A civil war between the Bolshevik (Soviet) Party, the Red Army, and the Anti-Bolshevik party, the White Army. Ended in 1923. -

Second Battle of the Marne
The last major German offense on the Western Front. The German attack failed when an Allied counterattack led by France overwhelmed the Germans, inflicting severe casualties. It was the turning point of the war in the western front. Lasted until August 1918. -
League of Nations
The League of Nations was an intergovernmental organization founded as a result of the Paris Peace Conference that ended the First World War. It was the first permanent international organization whose principal mission was to maintain world peace. Ended in 1946. -

The Big Four were the leaders of the Versailles peace negotiations in 1919. They consisted of David Lloyd George of Great Britain, Georges Clemenceau of France, Vittorio Orlando of Italy, and Woodrow Wilson of the United States. -
Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was one of the peace treaties at the end of World War I. It ended the state of war between Germany and the Allied Powers.
