Step 4 Allergen binds to Antibodies
When the food allergen re enters the body, the allergen bibds to the antibodies and sends out signals to the body to realease large amounts of histamine. -
Step 5 Histamine reaction
Thehistamine causes irritation and swellingin parts of the body. -
Step 6 Body Responds
The result of this irritation varies from person to person, from mild hives, shortness of breath, to anaphylaxis.
