Step 1
The first step is a person eats something that they are allergic to (also called an allergen) which causes an allergic reactiton for the first time. -

Once the person has consumed or eaten the allergen, the body starts to produce an antibody or protein that will detect harmful substances in the future. -
Step 3
Once the body creates the antibody, it attaches itself to other cells in the body to help gaurd the body from allergens from entering the body again. -

When the allergen is entered the body again, the antibodys are put to work and release a large amount of histamine. -
Step 5
Once the histamine is released into the body, it causes an irritation to occur. -
Step 6
Each individual is different, so each reaction is going to be different. Many reactions are hives, rashes, shortness of breath to even anaphylaxis shock.
