Hi my name is Ronan Moore. I was born on November 11, 1843. My dad died a year after I was born. My mom says she will remain single until she meet my father again in heaven. -
Immigrating
I immigrate to Ellis- Island looking for free land and a job to earn money for my mom. The boat was crowed with people. Very hot and stuffy. Most of the people didn't look very healthy. -
Christmas
It's really cold outside. I was going to pick up my mom from the ferry. When I got her she had brought expensive presents for Christmas. I told her we would get mugged if anybody saw us with these nice things. We shoved them in her suitcase and began walking home for dinner. -
Beginning of Spring
I start looking for a job after I found out my mom got sick on the ferry ride here. She is very ill and I want the best for her. I need money to help her get better. -
Srummling hot Summer!!
I found a job working for the train transportation.It pays enough to get by. I decided moved to the West because I can use the free transportation. Problem is that I can't be with with my mum. Once I get back to her I can pay for her medical opperations and help her move back with the rest of our family in Ireland. -
Hospital
I was in the hospital with my mum when she was getting her opperations done. The doctors said she went into a deep sleep for a few hours and when she woke up she wanted to see me. When i went to see her she was gone. She died on me. -
Dark night on the streets
When I had moved to the West I thought everything was going to get better. It didn't. I was in deep depression after my mum died. After I had gotten a job here I knew that could get my mind off of things for a while. To start a whole new beginning. One night I was walking on the road. Two men walked up behind me and shot me.
