The Car Crash
Inciting Conflict: The family piles into the car. Its a snow days so school got cancelled. They decide to go up to visit family friends. A pickup truck, going sixty miles an hour had crashed right into the passenger side. Mia automatically sees that both of her parents are dead, but she can't find her brother, Teddy. She runs to what she thinks is Teddy's hand, but then she realizes its not Teddy, its her. -

First Surgery
Initial Conflict: Mia can see herself in surgery now. She sees that the doctors are removing her spleen and inserting a tube to drain her collapsed lung. There wasn't much they could do for her brain. The doctors then announce that she's in a coma. -
Mia's Condition
Initial Conflict: Mia sees that a nurse was looking at her charts. She follows her downstairs to the waiting room. The nurse tells her family that she's in a coma, but she has a chance to wake up. Mia doesn't know if she wants to stay alive without her family. -
Kim
Mia's best friend Kim and her mother come in to see Mia. Kim's mother has been crying, but Kim refuses to cry. She knows that Mia is still here somehow. Mia sees how upset everyone is, but she doesn't know what to do. If she chooses to stay she'll miss her family, but if she chooses to go she'll miss way more than that. -
Adam
Mia sees her boyfriend, Adam and Kim come into the main entrance. They try to see Mia, but the nurse says only family is allowed to see her. Adam and Kim try to beg their way through, but the answer was still no. They had to make a plan to get in. -
The Plan
Adam and Kim found an unlocked supply closet and went in and locked the door. They were looking for a janitor's outfit or a nurse's outfit to get in, but they knew they were gonna get caught. Then Adam comes op with a distraction. He calls it "The Bat Signal." -
The Bat Signal
Adam arranges Brooke Vega, lead singer of fictional famous band Bikini, to come in and distract the hospital staff. She began singing and all the attention was on her. As Adam and Kim approached Mia's room, two security guards caught them and turned them away. -
Second Surgery
Mia is listening in on Willow and Adam's conversation in the security room. She hears Willow tell Adam that Teddy is gone. She runs back to her room to see herself getting take back to surgery. At this point, Mia really doesn't want to stay. Especially without Teddy. -
Adam sees Mia
Climax: Adam finally gets in to see Mia after all of the fighting he had to do. Mia is listening to Adam talk to her, and she isn't so sure she wants to leave now. She realizes that even without her family she still has other family and friends that care about her. -
Mia Wakes Up
Resolution: Kim comes in for a while to talk to Mia. At that point Mia was feeling very tired, and she felt that she was dying. Then, after Kim left, Adam came back in. All of a sudden she felt this sharp pain, and she had seen her life flash before her eyes. She woke up and decided to stay. -
Car Crash

First Surgery
After the crash, Mia finds herself in critical condition. The doctors are removing her spleen, inserting tubes, and finding it difficult to save her brain. She finds out that she is in a coma.
