Nez Perce Indian War
The year of 1877 the Nez Perce Indain War took place because Americans found gold on the Indians land. Americans planned to take over the Indian lands. The Indians won the Nez Perce Indian War. -
Bannock Indian War
The Bannock Indian War was started because a large group of people invaded the Bannock tribes area. The Bannock Indians invaded the white man's territory with armed weapons. The war lasted 9 monthes. -
Idaho becomes a state
On July 3rd 1890, Idaho went from a territory to a state. -
Offical State Seal Adopted
The OFFICAL state seal was adopted in 1907. No one knows what exact month and day the seal was adopted but they know the year. The govener had a design he made himself, but the state didn't want to use it because it was only one year after the territory became a state. Then they brought out his design in 1906 and decided they need a state seal so used it in 1907 and on. -
Forest Fires in Idaho
In 1910, one forest fire was started. Then two, then three, then four, an so on. This was not the greatest time for Idaho. -
Boise State becomes a college
In 1932, Boise became a Episcopal college. People decided they needed a eduacation place in there state. -
Bosie become a State University
In 1932, Bosie State became a State University which gave them a grant to build mulitiple more buildings. -
Capital pays big bucks from fire
In 1992, a fire caused 3.2 million dollars in damage to the state capital. This fire is still a mystery of what caused the fire in the capital.
