IB changes official value system to Biocentric and Earth-first philosophies.
Climate Change has destroyed/damaged much of the world, and the IB therefore changes its mission and philosophy in order to emphasize a biocentric, anti-capitalism worldview. Courses such as ESS and Enviro philosophy take precedence over courses like Economics. Old business models are thrown out. Sustainability is at the heart of the learner profile. -
First IB School opens on Mars
The very first IB 'Mars' School opens today, with an emphasis on the equality for 'humanity and other species' and the statement to 'boldly go where no IB student has gone before'. IB students focus on creating sustainability projects on Mars. First contact with alien civilizations means that the IB is researching new languages and culture in order to unite the galaxy as one. Terra forming of Mars is conducted by ESS students.
