Ian Hacking's Education
Papers and books are very numerous in Ian Hacking's events and accomplishments. Accomplishments I feel are rarely talked about is education, Ian received his bachelors degree in 1956, majoring in mathematics and physics. Ian won a prize in mathematics and theology. These accomplishments are important to philosophy because it made all his publications credible from the years of hard work to obtain such degrees, in return young philosophers could take note and base their philosophies with Ian. -
Giving Back
Ian Hacking, like many philosophers and scientist wanted to give back what they took, education. Ian Hacking has been a professor since 1964, only two years after receiving his PhD. Ian taught philosophy across the world from Canada to Uganda, if this doesn't contribute to Philosophy I don't know what does. Ian shared his views and works with many students across the world and continues to this day. Dedicating his entire life to Philosophy and giving back the education he took. -
The Emergence of Probability
Emergence of Probability one of many publications from Ian Hacking discusses when the idea of probability came to be in the science community. Bringing new light on how philosophers thought back all the way back to the seventeenth century. Improving how we can now think of probability creating another of many keys to unlocking science and all it's questions.

Taming of Chance
Taming of Chance was written in 1990 by Ian Hacking. Taming of Chance described how society became static in the nineteenth century and no one took risk everything was day by day, very routine. Publication such as this would show philosophers and scientist that you should not accept history or the routine set in front of you. Take chances, conduct new experiments, and develop new hypothesis. https://informationphilosopher.com/solutions/philosophers/hacking/
