The Beginning
This is when the assignment to write to a pen pal across the word started. Caitlyn chose the country Zimbabwe, and the child that received the letter was Martin. Martin was the top of his class and lived in extreme poverty. Caitlyn was a high class girl from Pennsylvania. -
The First Gifts
This is the first time that the gifts were sent through the mail. It would be the first of many. It was a shirt of Caitlyn's brother and it was a high class brand in Zimbabwe./ Martin loved the gift. -
Expulsion
Martin was expelled from his schooling in Zimbabwe because his dad had lost his job at the factory. Martin no longer was allowed to stay in school because they could not afford tuition fees. -
