Peeta giving katniss the bread when she was starving and struggling after her dad died showed kindness because he risked getting in trouble and beaten by his mom just to give her a loaf of bread to make sure she wouldn’t starve. He took a big risk and got caught but did it anyway. He was wiling to take the punishment for his actions to help her out. -
Haymitch reasurring Katniss
When katniss was worried and freaking out about the games and how she shot an arrow at the game makers. Haymitch reassured her and showed her kindness by calming her down and instead of freaking her out and making it worse he said, “Well that’s that”. He could of easily made her more nerveous and told her all the bad things that could happen but he just said a simple answer. That made her feel better about what she did, because Katniss knew it could of easily backfired. -
Avox Forgives Katniss
When the avox girl came in and started to clean she showed katniss kindness by forgiving her, and taking the stress away from her regreat she felt the day the avox girl was taken. she felt regreatful for leaving the avox girl to defend for herslef and seeing her at the capitol made it worse. Katniss felt like she should of done something to help her. But the Avox girl knew if she did the same thing would of happened to katniss. She knew that forgiving her would help her focus on the games better -
Rue
Rue showed her kindness when she told her about the wasp nest above her head so that she wouldn’t get stung. Then she helped her with the idea of dropping it on Cato below. Witch helped take out two girls from the game. And then they formed an alliance againts the others. -
Peeta Saves Katniss again
Peeta showed her kindness by saving her life again. Even though she dropped a wasp nest on him he went back and saved her by risking his life to get her away from Cato. Then leaving him they’re to defend himself. He help Katniss get away but he had to suffer the conciquences of it, when cato cut him. -
Katniss showed kindess
When rue was dying katniss showed her kindness by singing her to sleep. It helped comfort Rue and remind her of home. She also showed the capitol that they cant control them by decorating rue with flowers, She killed the person who killed rue as a tribute for her. -
the bread lady
The bread lady showed katniss kindness when she let her take the goat for rue. This showed kindness because the goat lady could have taken the goat and taken it from her or made her pay a higher price. But instead she let her have the goat and buy it instead. -
Thresh let Katniss go
Thresh showed her kindness by letting her live. He could have easily killed her but he let her go in order to repay her for taking care of rue. Letting her go also made them eaquel because thresh owed Katniss. He could of easily won the games but he to a risk to save her, and insted killed Clove -
Peeta wants to die for Katniss
Peeta showed katniss kindness by risking his life to save her. He wasn’t going to let her eat the barries and sacrife herself so he could wim. He was going to eat them to die so that she could win and go back to Prim and her mom. -
HAymitch warning Katniss
Haymitch showed kindness because he warned Katniss about the capital being mad and helped coach her on what to do. So that she wouldn’t get in trouble. He watched out for her and made sure he did what he could do to help her avoid getting intouble for embarssing the capitol. Becuse she made the capitol look like fools for braking the rules and having two winners.
