    Hunyadi János smashed the Turks for the fisrt time, which meant that the Turks could be defeated.

    Winter campaign

    Hunyadi started the winter campaign in order to liberate the Balkans, and he succeeded till Sofia. Since the Turks didn't expect that someone would attack them during winter, they asked for a peace treaty, in which they had to evacuate the Balkans.

    Hunyadi broke the turkish blockade on the Danube, then with the help of Szilágyi and Capistro they were able to defeate the Turks. They secured the southern defense, and prevented the further expansion of the turks.

    Matthias was able to regain Galambóc, Bosnia and Jajca. When the Turks wanted to get back the territorries Matthias defeated them.
