-Started the revoloution of wireless communication
-made it easier for people to communicate without being near each other
-sparked the inventions of many more wireless objects I think if this event never happened communication would be much more difficult. There would be no cell phones or GPS. Technology wouldnt be as far along. -

Childeren were no longer able to work in dangerous conditions that threatened thier health and well being I think if this event never happened the education level in people today would be much lower. Kids would be sick from working in poor conditions. Now, Canadian children are smart and healthy -

This was an important milestone on Canada's road to indipendence. I think that if this event never happened Canada would still be linked with britain and would not be a strong indipendent country of its own. -

-Started TV
-entertained people in the 1950's
-Moved technology forward I think if this event never happened there wouldn't be as much of a focus on media in the world, but canadians wouldn't be able to spread information with moving pictures and sound as easily. -

-Happened when Maurice Richard was suspended for a violent attack on a linesman Why a signifigant event:
-some people linked his suspension with the quiet revoloution and Quebec nationalism I think if this event never happened Quebec wouldnt be as indipendent as they are today. This riot showed thier quebec pride for thier provience. -

First Canadian to be able to leave earth and travel through the atmosphere safely. I think if this event never happened canadians wouldn't have the knowledge of space or the ability to send signals around the world fast through space. -

-made it more of a hassle to travel
-created jobs in security
-destroyed historic buildings
- killed thousands of people
-showed canada what people can do I think if this event never happened Canadians would be at more of a risk against terroroists, it wouldnt be so difficult to travel be we wouldnt be as safe.
