Robin tells Lilly that although she likes Ted, she doesn’t think he’s very casual. The Color Black - In this episode, Robin sports the color black which resembles sadness and depression. She exhibits these emotions when her friend finds her cryingin the bathroom after seeing Ted with a different girl at a dinner party. -

In this episode Ted wears a green shirt. It makes sense, because Ted has a lot of optimism that a long distance relationship will work (despite what his friends tell him). -
