    Thomas Blatt was born in April 15 1927 In a small town called Izbica,Poland.

    Thomas Blatt town was occupied by the Nazis and turned into a ghetto for the Jews.Thomas escaped the ghetto that was in Izbica but then got caught and then imprisoned at 15 years old.He managed to escape and went back to Izbica.

    Nazis deported Thomas's family to a death camp called Sobibor death camp.When they got to the camp his family got separated and then murdered.Leaving only Thomas left at the camp to be a labor slave.

    This revolt in the death camp killed most of the Nazi staff members and letting 300 hundred out of the 600 hundred escape.Only 54 survived out of the 300 hundred due to the minefields and Thomas Blatt managed to survive that minefield and the prisoner revolt.(I could not find any images off the after math of the prisoner revolt in the death camp)
