  • Regime introduces the very first concentration camps

    In these camps prisoners included homosexuals, Jews, Political opponents and pretty much everyone that they considered dangerous. They all felt the wrath of the nazi party's racist goals and ideas.
  • How it started ?

    At this time in Europe the Jewish population was at about 9 million. Most of the Jewish lived in areas that were also populated by Nazi Germans.
  • Germany chooses chancellor

    On January 30th, 1933 Adolf Hitler was selected as the new German Chancellor ; the regime began and citizens had little to no guaranteed rights.
  • German invasion of Poland

    This is what initially began the anti-jewish policy. This event took place at the start of WW2. This was a movement with the evil intentions of wiping the Jews out of the country and society in general. As the policy escalates, Ghettos are formed which were areas designed to keep Jews isolated.
  • German invasion of the Soviet Union

    Hitler created the ss a very powerful group of bodyguards (etc) for the Nazi party. Mass killing operations of the Jews began. Not only the ss, but the police introduced mobile gas trucks for the use of killing those trapped inside. These vans were meant for use along with the other mass killing operations.

    Germans and their Axis partners we both pushed back and the allied troops soon uncovered the truth behind the the crimes committed by Nazis during the holocaust.

    By this time , the Nazis had killed over 6 million jews. These people were part of a master-minded genocide.

    By this time, Nazis had killed over HALF of the European Jewish peoples as part of the " Final Solution" . Under Hitler's rule , this "Final Solution" was used basically an attempt to word a mass genocide differently. They were treated very very poorly and most ended up dead due to the fact that the Nazis felt that all Jews were a threat and danger .
  • What happened after ?

    Once allied troops had entered , they found all of the cruel and gruesome things left behind. There were still thousands of survivors who were weak and starved. Many of these people had real trouble trying to rebuild their lives. Those who were homeless or had emigration problems were sent to DP camps. Throughout later years many trials were held to those accused of these crimes. It is said that Hitler took his own life shortly after WW2 , but many believe he didn't really die.
