    Hitler is named chancler in 1933. He eliminated political rivals to be head of Nazis. H e was also rising popularity of Nazis forces Hindenburg to give him some power. He finally gets some official power.

    The holocaust is when The nazis killed a 11 million jews. They would also kill the unwanted women/children first because they felt they didn't do anything to help them.

    Hitler blames the communists for the fire. Reichstag is where all the communist people go.

    Within a few month, all other political parties besides the Nazis were eliminated. this allowed Hitler to get rid of all of his rivals. At this time we see an official Boycott of Jewish business as well. He is still chancler until 1943 when he dies.

    The Nazis and the German did this thing to the Jews called the kristallnacht. The Kristallnacht is when the german and the nazis burned down some of the jews houses so it is kind of a sign so they know that they are coming for them.

    Nazis needed a way to identify Jews so they could discriminate them. Nuremberg Laws defined people with 3 or 4 Jewish grandparents as "Jewish" and 1 or 2 as "mixed blood"

    Anne Frank and her family went into hiding because the German and the Nazis were going to kill them and make them suffer. so they had to go into hiding.

    Residents smuggled weapons in. Up rise lasted for about a month. SS troops arrested and deported and deported residents after up rise ended.

    Mr.frank was the only one in her family to survive the Holocaust.So he wanted to come back and wanted to see if there was anything in there that he wanted to keep. Anne's diary was so popular because it told all of her feeling and how everything happened and how it was for her in the Holocaust.
