  • First Generation HB Torana

    First Generation HB Torana
    Introduced in 1967 the Holden Torana featured a two-door body, 12 inch wheels and a 56 bhp 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a four-speed gearbox. The engine was developed continually in this car and certain different engines became optional. The production of the car finished in late 1969.
  • Second Generation LC Torana

    Second Generation LC Torana
    Made available in October 1969, the LC Torana was available in with either a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. You could also choose between a 3 or 4 speed manual gearbox and a 2 or 4 door body. The car was voted Wheels magazine car of the year in 1969.
  • Second Generation LJ Torana

    The LJ Torana had very few differences to the LC, with the only real difference being the choice of engine. The 4 cylinder engines where still in operation however it was the refinment of the 6 cylinder engine that grabed the attention of the public.
  • Second Generation TA Torana

    The TA Torana replaced the LJ Torana in 1974. It had a larger body and came with the choice between a 6 or 8 cylinder engine. It came in both 4 and 2 door models. The cars success was only short lived, being produced for only 11 months.
  • Third Generation LH Torana

    This saw the first completely new Torana body, with the arrival of the larger mid-sized LH series. It came only in a four-door model. It was unique to other cars at the time because they buyer had the choice of three different engines, with the most popular choice being the V8.
  • Third Generation UC Torana

    Third Generation UC Torana
    The introduction of the UC Torana saw the end of the popular Torana range until it re-emerged 26 years. It was too similar compared to other GM type cars and was no longer the popular choice.
  • Torana TT36

    Torana TT36
    The Torana TT36 came out with a completely new revolutionary look. It was a look that was ahead of its time and caught the publics eye. It has been put into a Motor Museum in Melbourne.
