Birth
Ho Chi Minh was born on May 19, 1890. He was born in Nyguyen Tat Than (Bluberg 119-124). He was raised in the city of Kim Lein (Dictators and Tyrants 140). Minh's birth is important because if he was not born, then Vietnam probably would have not become a Democratic Republic (Bluberg 119-124). -
Iron and Steel strike
During 1892, iron and steel workers struck in the United States. This was known as the Homestead Strike. This strike occurred in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania between the Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers (the AA) and the Carnegie Steel Company. This was a result of a defeat for the union (Times Tables of History 447-5677). -
Electrons discovery
In 1897, J.J Thomson discovered the electron in Europe. The electron was discovered through a number of experiments. These experiments were to study the nature of electric discharges. This is important because now we know many more concepts of the atom we may not have known before (The Times Tables of History 447-567). -
Gillette Razor
In 1901, The gillette razor was invented. This razor was invented by the American inventor King Camp Gillette and William Nickerson. This invention is important because now men don't have facial hair if they don't want it and led to more compllex razors (The Times Tables of History 447-567). -
German Universities
In 1909, women were admitted to German universities. Women were finally admitted to the universities because they wanted to expand and increase the education of people. This is significant because now women are able to educate themseleves and have jobs (The Times Tables of History 447-567). -
left Vietnam
In 1919, Ho Chi Minh moved to France. While he was in France, he became a cook (Dictators and Tyrants). While sailing on the sea as a cook, he traveled to Africa, The United States, and Britain ("Ho Chi Minh"). Also while he was in France, he studied traditional medicine and learned how to write letters (Bluberg 119-124). This event is important because Minh learned how adapted important qualities that others could not learn which led him to more success. -
Socialist Party
In 1919, Ho Chi Minh became a member of the Socialist Party. He became part of the Socialist Party while he was in Paris, France. This is important because this will lead Minh on to creating more groups with the communist of Vietnam (Dictators and Tyrants 140). -
Frederick Banting
Frederick Banting was known mostly in the medical field for his career. Banting ,in 1923, was the first scientist to give insulin to children. This led to him winning a Nobel Prize. This is important because the insulin has now created many ways for children and adults to control diabetes (Times Tables of History 447-567). -
Indochinese Communist Party
In 1930, Ho Chi Minh created a group called the Indochinese Communist Party in Hong Kong (Dictators and Tyrants 140).This group was led by Minh himself. The effects on Vietnam after the group was formed resulted to near starvation and it filled a long, large area across central Vietnam ("Indochinese Communist Party"). This group is important because this group leads to many revolutions soon to come (Dictators and Tyrants 140). -
Return to VIetnam
Ho Chi Minh returned back to Vietnam at the end of World War ll. During his return, Minh creates a group called the "Communist Controlled League". This is significant because this is going to lead up to Communists controlling the country of Vietnam (Dictators and Tyrants 140) -

President od Democratic Republic
Ho Chi Minh became the first president of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Minh changed the government of Vietnam from a monarchy to a democratic republic. This is significant because Vietnam is now more modernized than it was before and it is moe equal now with more rights (Dictators and Tyrants 140). -
Proclaimation of Independence
In 1945, Minh proclaimed the independence of Vietnam. During this time of the proclaimation, Minh becomes the first president of Vietnam. This is important because the government now changes and events will occur because of it (Dictators anf Tyrants 140). -

France and Vietnam
Between 1946 and 1954, events after World War ll caused controversy between France and Vietnam. A brutal guerilla led on between France and Vietnam. This is important because this timespan of years leads to the independence of Vietnam from France (Dictators and Tyrants 140). -
Period: to
North and South Vietnamese War
Betwen the years of 1959 to 1975, North and South Vietnam were at war. This war was between both the governments of North and South Vietnam (Dictators and Tyrants). In 1964, the United States became apart of this war ("Ho Chi Minh was noted for Success in blending Nationalism and Communism"). This is important because now the United States is going to have a conflicting relationship with Vietnam. -
Stanley Cup Championship
On May 4, 1969, the Montreal Canadiens won their second consecutive championship. The Canadiens defeated St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup Finals. This is important because this was the 52nd Stanley Cup and the score was identical to the year before ( The Times Tables of History 447-567). -
Death
Ho Chi Minh died in Vietnam. Minh died at the age of 79 as the first president lof the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. His death was significant because many events occurred after his deagth and my buildings and monuments were built (Bluberg 119-124)
