    Democritus

    Democritus
Democritus- A Socratic philosopher of ancient Greece who developed an atomic theory base for the world. He was known as the ‘laughing philosopher due to his values of cheerfulness. He founded a system that was an origin taught by his teacher named Leucippus into a master account of the natural living world. Democritus found that the atoms were what everything was composed and filled and moved to an infinite void in space.
  • John Dalton

    John Dalton
John Dalton- His atomic theory stated that all matter is composed of atoms which are indivisible and indestructible. The atoms were given an element and are identical in mass properties found in the object they make. Dalton’s theory also states that the atom compounds are formed by two or more different kinds of atoms to produce a compound. The last factor of Dalton’s theory was that a chemical reaction is a rearrangement of atoms instead of production of a new element.
  • J.J Thomson

    J.J Thomson
Thomson's Work with Atoms was groundbreaking and brought forth. The most groundbreaking thing he discovered was the electron. He was doing testing with Cathode ray tubes. He found a particle smaller than any atom discovered, which was the electron. His last major experiment was discovering the Isotope and atoms of the same type with different weights.
  • Robert Millikan

    Robert Millikan
He again didn’t start off as scientist, instead he had a focus on math and Greek. But later when he went to college he discovered physics. He excelled in Physics and even got his PHd in it. His first major discovery was on the charge of Electrons, and the Atomic Structure of Electricity. He later went on to prove Einstein's photoelectric equation, and then squashed all remain opposition on the Atom and Kinetic Theories of matter.
  • Ernest Rutherford

    Ernest Rutherford
His atomic model described the atom as a dense, small, positively charged core called a nucleus. The model has all mass with a main point to revolve around light and negative connections by the name of electrons. The charges rotate around each other like how the planets revolve around the sun according to Rutherford. His atomic model is commonly called the nuclear atom alternatively the planetary model of an atom.
  • Niels Bohr

    Niels Bohr
Bohr stated the electrons move in fixed orbits and that they absorb energy. His diagram displayed an image of outer orbits holding more electrons than inner orbits. He also believed that atoms moving from one orbit to another release energy or radiation. He stated that the orbits determine the chemical properties of an atom. His theory was elaborated by many physicists who liked his idea.
  • James Chadwich

    James Chadwich
James Chadwick worked under Ernest Rutherford; and during his training he proved that neutrons existed. Neutron’s are the elementary particles with no charge and the fundamental building blocks of the atom’s nucleus. It was one of the most important discoveries in the 20th century; it found a solution to the jigsaw puzzle, and in return, Chadwick was awarded a Nobel Prize.
  • Erwin Schrodinger

    Erwin Schrodinger
He researched a lot on dynamics and atomic spectroscopy. He also we wrote a lot about the questions of life and the history of science. Schrodinger’s wave is the mathematical equation of wave mechanics that is still the most commonly used form of mathematics. He researched a lot on dynamics and atomic spectroscope. He introduced his famous Schlesinger cat, paradox in the year 1935. The cat displayed the weirdness of quantum physics.
