The olive branch petition was a letter the colonist sent to the king basically saying We want to be one with you, we were a great team together, we need you to survive! The king refused to read it witch meant that the American revolution had started. -

This book was about how it was so dumb that the colonist begged the king to let them work together again. It was a political statment the went viral and convenced lots of people to agree that they should fight for indipendence. -

The president sent 3 people to discuss a treaty with france, the leader sent 3 agents X,Y and Z who said that they could only speak with the leader about the treaty if the U.S gave France a large amount of money, this affair caused a short war between France and the USA. -

The war of 1812 was when Great Britain was not really treating America like a country so we went to war with them, no one ended up winning and we signed a treaty with them and they treated us like a country now.
