General who led the United States Army into American Expeditionary Forces to victory over Germany in World War 1 . Also led revolutionary war against Pancho Villa. He had a willing heart to ingrate and ally with others, this is what brought him victory . He was army chief from 1921-1924.

He was an American aviation (plane ) pioneer. He created the U.S. aircraft industry. He started off with an obsession of bicycles . He later went on a test flight of a pre-plane named “The White Wing.” And then he built the “June Bug” off others people past knowledge. .

Was known for his ranking as one of the most decorated officers in World War . He was a big part in the Argonne Forest attack. He led 17 men into the battle. York fought alone against German solders while his team was holding hostages.

The Great Migration
This was the movement of 6 million African Americans from rural south areas. These African Americans all took off to the great North cities. Harsh Segregation and lack of economic opportunities is what basically pushed the blacks to the north. But because of this , blacks were forced to deal with poor working conditions and

This was a cause and effect. When the Germans crossed a French line, the United States didn’t want any type of problems. They wanted to stay neutral as well . So they gave the Germans a order . The germans altered there submarine and naval passages to avoid trespassing into any American territory. -
Battle of the Argonne Forest
One of the final allied offensive of World War 1 that stretched along all of the west front. It took place in the Argonne Forest in France. The associated powers were America, France, and Germany. It was a surprise attack on the Germans. September 26 -November 11, 1918 -
Treaty of Versailles
The officially ended World War one. This treaty was negotiated with allied powers, and punished Germany greatly. IT has 15 part and 440 articles. After 5 years of strict probation as I would call it. The French let the Germans have less strictness and made reparations. But this was quickly canceled because Hitler was coming up. -

This was a time where the African American culture boomed greatly along with their music, art, and poetry. White people were fascinated with the culture, they publicized it greatly and influenced future generations. 1920’s-1930’s -

Id like to start by saying that Louis Armstrong is known as the ‘Father of Jazz” . And jazz was enjoyed by everyone who wasn’t racist. IT was a big part of the Harlem Renaissance and seemed to lightened the mood to everyone. -
The Great Depression
This was the worst economic downturn of western history . The depression started after the stock market crash, it was like a domino effect. The consumer investments dropped dramatically.
15 million amaericans were unemployed. Half the countries banks closed. When the World War 2 stated , it put the economy in high gear. -
The Dust Bowl
This was great plains disaster. This dust storm took over 150,000 square mile area. It covered the panhandles of Oklahoma , Texas, and parts of Kansas , Colorado . It was nicknamed the black blizzard.
It started in the 1930’s and didn’t go down until the 1940’s. -
The NEW DEAL
In 1933 FDR took office and started programs and projects to help the economy. Many people were lifted and a lot of new agencies were formed. It aimed to restore the economy and help the american people. -
Red Scare
The definition is the promotion of fear of a potential rise of communism or radical leftism. This was more taking place during the Cold War that was going on between the Soviet Union and the United States. The red scare was labeling the communist who had red soviet flags.
