The war in the air was a war that icluded alot of dog fights. not just dog fights there were bombings, and when there are bombings there are casualties. The candian pilot who shot down Manfred 'The Red Baron' was our good trooper Von Richthofen. They say the average lifespan of a pilot would only be three weeks. Even though the percentage of candians were only 40 percent we still did good.

An explosion happened on this day including the Monte Blanc and the Norweigan vessel ship collided and caused a big explosion. There was a fire on board and it caused a cataclysmic explosion. About 2000 people died in this horrific accident. also 9000 were injured. This explosion is known to be the biggest man-made explosion.

The great depression was a terrible time where people would do anything for money. It was a difficult time for finding jobs. When people had mo jobs they couldnt pay their rent or bills. When that happens they lost everything.

The on-to -ottawa trek was considered a solution to the great depression. Men at this time got sick of being in relief camps, so they decided to climb onto trains. One of their stops was unfortunely in a riot which then got named the regina riot.

This attack Hitler used the new blitzkreig to attack france.this method consumed all of their weaponry to take out as many troopers as possible. The troops had to be evacuated to britain. Defeated but considered a miracle.

The location was near the east coasts of france. 6100 and more than half were canadian soldiers. The casualties were 1000 canadians wounded 2000 surrendered and became P.O.W.S.(prisoners of war). About 900 were killed and 2200 and returned from home to england.
