The candlestick phone
•The candlestick was composed of two parts: the earpiece that was connected to the base of the mouthpiece, ant its shape resembled the shape of a candle. It was used between 1890 – 1930 -
Rotary phone
•The rotary was first created in 1904 and it became very popular because it had the mouthpiece and the earpiece in one piece. -
Push Button phone
•The push button was created in 1963 and it was popular between 1963 to 1970 and it was an amazing creation because you could select the numbers with only the push of a button. -
Portable Phone
• Created around 1980, the portable phone was a small, wireless, portable phone that was useful because you could talk through it without being next to the base, in other words, you could talk being across the house from the base -
Cell Phone
•The Motorola dynaTAC was created in 1984 and it was one of the biggest innovations in the phone´s history (apart from the original phone) because you could take it wherever you wished. It had a price of more than $3995
