His experiment in 1902 at Glace Bay Nova Scotia exposed the world to radio transmission. His company continued to develop continuous wave transmissions which led to general radio wave broadcasts in 1915. -
The Telephone (1915)

In 1924 the telephones were advancing to using a phone dial. In 1927 Canadians could telephone europe via the United States. -

This power plant provided people in Ontario with a local source of electricity for their businesses and homes. -

In the mid 1920’s, vacuum cleaners were developing so that they were more efficient and useful in the house. In the 1920’s refrigerators were introduced and were not as common because of how expensive they were back then. -
Welland Canal (1914-1929)

It was built so that more ships, and bigger ships could go through the canals. That means that ships could carry out more imports and exports to other countries. -
Insulin (1921)

In 1921, Fredrick Banting and Charles. H. Best tested insulin out on a dog. Then near the end of that year, they had cured a boy with severe diabetes. -

It was originally developed in Michigan, United States and was eventually brought to Canada. This was a massive change in the method in which Canadians transported themselves and goods from place to place. -
Hudson Bay Railroad (1929)
