League Of Nations
The League of nations was a form of government that was a result of The Paris Peace conference. It was created after world war 1 and it's main goal was to maintain peace by preventing war and settling disputes. The Great Powers helped enforce the decisions, but the league started to fail and as a result countries started to leave. -

The 19th Amendment stated that women were not allowed to vote. In August 1920 the 19th amendment was ratified. I believe this is historically significant because if this didn't happen nowadays women wouldn't be able to vote and their voices wouldn't be heard. -
