Columbus discovered America.
Coloumbus was searching for a western sea route to Asia. Columbus got to America instead of the Indies. Columbus claimed America to be his discovery. -
The Thirteen colonies.
It was the thirteen colonies that came together to form the united states. There was the middle colonies which had allot of promblems with religious pluralism. The southern colonies was a great place for agriculture with the ocean there. The new England colonies came with a big group for religious freedom. -
French and Indian war.
when france crossed over into the claims of the british colonies was a series of battles that led to a war. This war was 7 years. After seven years and bloodshed the war ended in 1763. -
Boston Tea Party
American colonists approached 3 British ships with the plan to destroy all the tea to protest against british tax. The Boston tea party gave people motivation to stand up for there rights. -
Revolutionary war.
The conflict started growing tensions between people of Great Britain’s 13 North American colonies and the colonial government, which represented the British kingdom. The revolutionary war incuded the Paul Rever ride when he said "The british are coming" The revolutionary war went on 8 years! -
Writing the constitution.
The constitution was written during the Philadelphia convention. The constitution layed out a structure for the American government, and gives certian power to each of the three branches. -
Missouri compromise.
This was an effort by congress to try defuse slavery from being permited in Missouri. At this time America divided slavery evenly from being a no slave state and have slave states. -
Industrial revolution.
The industrial revolution was a new age of new manufacturing. Allot of the rise with the Industrial revolution started in Brittain where cotton was being mad more and more to to the spinning wheel and factories, it was huge for america because this really started up the Industrial revolution that we bever had really seen before. -
Bleeding Kansas
Bleeding kansas was a fight about slavery. There was anti-slavery and pro-slavery that fought against eachother.
