  • President Bill Clinton is Impeached

    Bill Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States. December 8, 1998 he was impeached by the House of Representatives for lying under oath. As well for obstructing justice. The house voted on two different articles of impeachment. One being he has committed perjury before a grand jury and the other being that he obstructed justice. February 12, 1999 Clinton was acquitted on both offenses. Bill Clinton was the second president to ever be impeached.

    9/11 Terrorist Attack
    Tuesday, September 11, 2001 two planes stuck the World Trade Center in New York City. 8:46 am American Airlines flight 11 crashed into the North building. 9:03 am United Airlines flight 175 crashed into the South building. 9:37 American Airlines flight 77 hit the Pentagon. The terrorist group al-Qaeda, who was led by Osama bin Laden was the head of these attacks. Nearly 3,000 people were found dead and thousands more injured. This is one of the most devastating events in history.
