Vince McMahon decided to step away from edgier content and the Ruthless Aggression Era or Attitude Era was over, but this started the PG Era for WWE, with family friendly content and John Cena being the poster boy for this era. -
Final Era
The PG Era slowly faded and WWE became more like reality shows where real life events would effect the outcomes of matches and how shows would go, and this marked the start of the Reality Era with Daniel Bryan as the first champion to mark the start of this era. -

The attention of women wrestling became higher than ever before and this led to more women's matches and more events being held with screen time being split perfectly between demographics thanks to the help of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch. -

Vince McMahon stepped down from WWE as the CEO and chairman of the brand and leaving his estate to his daughter, Stephanie, and leaving the creative ideas of WWE up to his son-in-law, Triple H.
