    On September 1,1939 was the German Invasion of Poland. The Germans were first to act on this day ,with there Navy and Airforce which bombarded Polish troops, Adolph Hitler (Germanys Leader) was trying to obtain more land for his country. Soon after on October 6 Poland fell to Germanys power.

    The Battle of Britain occured July 10 to October 31, 1940. During this time there was many bombings on France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Norway. The main idea was for the German Air Force to ambush Britains Royal Air Force. With 3,000 people being killed everyday through this war the outcomw was many deaths.

    Operation of Barbarossa-Russia
    On June 22,1941 is when the Operation of Barbarossa came into play. This was when the Germans attack the Soviet Union, which was a suprise. Many of the Russian Armies were killd or captured. This was Hitlers idea to get Britain to adjudicate peace. The outcome of this event was that it lead to there defeat cause of its cost.

    Battle of Moscow

    The Battle of Moscow occured from October 2, 1941 to january 7,1942. The connotatiion of this war was basically that the Germans did not win Operation Barbarossa so they thought maybe if they try to takeover Moscow (the heart of Russia) the whole nation would fall. The Germans and the Russians fought. Basically at the ner the end Hitler clled ut the troops slowly and the hazrd of trying to take Moscow was over.

    From August 23,1942 to Febuary 2, 1943 was the Battle of Stalingrad. This Battle was fought very smartly by Russia, that the German troops lost alot of people. the perpose was to stop any trade goods from going up the Volga River. The outcome of German troops led by Hitler doing this is that they with evacuate back home.

    The Battel of Kursk lasted 16 days, from July 4 to the 20 in 1943. The Soviets were very intellegent during this battlebecause of there logic to drag in troops to decrease the ermans army then they would fight more. The outcome of this battle was that the troops got dragged more and more int Russia causing the German troops to pull out and altimatley fail.
