Underwood NO.5
This design is by far the most successful style of typewriter. Because it was the first ever typewriter to hit at the front stroke pattern meaning that it would hit he paper at a vertical from apposed to a diagonal making the print clearer and neater. The Underwood NO.5 was so popular that by 1920's all typewriters were an imitation of the Underwood NO.5. -
Keyboard
And as we all know, the keyboard is a computer input system that types all sorts of numbers letters and symbols. The entire board is made up of a matrix, with each key set up with their own individual piece. When you press on the key it hits a switch which completes a matrix and then transfers that command to the computer. This allowed less redo's to be done because you could erase your mistakes and have an even neater print than any typewriter.
