The Decloration is a very biased document, when it says"all men are created equal" it doesnt include africans slaves and indians.
About 45% of americans were patroits, while 20-30% were loyalists, the rest were just in the middle.
The Decloration also didnt mention women's rights either.

Patroits win the battle of Trenton
