Democritus (400 B.C.)
Proposed the idea of the atom. He argued that the world consisted of an infinite amount of atoms. he thought the atom looked like a circle.

Dalton
He belived that matteer is invicible atoms. And that atoms are arranged in different nixtures and compounds. He used a method that was made up of types of "flowers". Claimed that it looked like a biillard ball.

Thomson
He discovered that eectrons are in models. And that atoms have tiny negatively charged particles inside that are electrons. Claimed it looked like Plum-Pudding.

Rutherford
Rutherford tested Thomson's hypothesis by devisinng his " Gold Foil" experiment. He wasn't sure how the protons and electrons were arranged within the atom.

Bohr
He belived that electrons existed in set orbits around the nucleus. He gathered evidence from plamck's Quantum theroy.

Heisenberg and Schrodinger
The atoms sketch out the shape of an object in an irregular motions. They used the Two-Slit experiment. Claimed that it looked like quantim mechanical model orbital.
