Chief Tabby
Chief Tabby dies at the the age of 104 years old. Tabiona is named after him. -
Homestead
The government released the valley for homesteading. -
First Child Born
First child is born in Tabiona. -
First School
First school was held at a person's home. You had to travel several miles on foot or a horse to get to school. -
First School Built
The first brick school house is built. It had 13 rooms, gym, kitchen and a shop. It cost about 30,000 dollars and 200 students attended. -
Sawmill
The first sawmill was established. Sawmills were big businesses in Tabiona. -
Mercantile Store
The first store was built. It burnt down and was rebuilt in 1948. That building is still used today. -
Tabiona Town
Tabiona was now an incorporated town with 400 residents. -
Fire Department
Tabiona established the first volunteer fire department. -
Church
The church was built in 1975. -
Sagebrush Inn
The Sagebrush Inn was built and is still there today. -
New School Built
