    Pennsylvania allowed public schools to deny education to special needs children.The`state claimed that these children will be too burdensome to put into the school environment.The court ruled the state will provide free public education.Also the state will provide sufficient education and training.

  • Mills V. Board of Education of District of Columbia

    District Columbia exclude or denied several students with behavior problems of education services. The parents argue that this denied them with a public school education.
    The court ruled that the deprivation of an education violates their right to an public education. That there should be a due process given to the parents.
    This case gives the children the right to be evaluated and identified. That parents have the right to due process.

  • Irving Independent School District v. Tatro, 468 U.S.883

    Amber parents wanted her cather given during school hours and that it was a related services. School Board argue it was`not a related service.
    The court ruled for her cather be given during school hours and that the IEP will be modified to include this related service.
    The ruling support special needs children that have supportive services. Services like the CIC without this procedure the child could not attend classes and benefit special education.
