Gmail was created in the early months of 2004. Upon its creation many thought it was an April Fools’ Day prank because of its ability to have a 1 gigabyte storage limit – which exceeded inbox at the time by 500%. And in 2007 it was launched to the general public. -

IPAD
The first generation iPad was launched on January 27 of 2010. It was designed to be a multimedia tablet that was able to bridge the gap between a smart phone and a laptop. It was a compact and lighter piece of technology that allows as users to interact with this contact and applications. This is highly significant, seeing as all or almost all of our district students do work on their iPads!! -
Snapchat
Created by Reggie Brown, Bobby, Murphy, and Evan Spiegel in 2011. Snapchat is an instant messaging app. One of its prominent features being that you can share pictures and messages only for a short amount of time before they become inaccessible to a person unless they save it. It also allows users to store their photos in a password-protected area called “ My Eyes Only “ - it has branched out to become something much more than its original intended use. -

The first ever prototype was released April 2014 and the official version came out in August 2014. By the end of May 2017, this app had reached over 200 million users and eventually merged into a more relevant app -

Musically merges with TikTok. The new owners of the company behind musically wanted to incorporate its technology and user base into their newfound app. So in August of 2018, all existing musically accounts and data were consolidated into one app - the app that we all know now as TikTok. -
