Following its massive success on its debut series games, new pokémon were introduced in this nostalgic fan favorite follow up game. Gold and Silver were released on November 21, 1999 in Japan. A year later, America got its release on October 15, 2000. -
Pokémon Crystal
Pokémon Crystal was released on December 14, 2000 in Japan. Northamerican release was on July 30, 2001. -
Third Generation
Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire were introduced as the new main series games on the Gamebody Advance platform. With massive changes to the playability, Pokémon games got revolutionized. Ruby and Sapphire versions were released on the 21st of November, 2002 in Japan. -
Pokémon Firered and Leafgreen
Pokémon Firered and Leafgreen were the first versions to be remades of original titles. With them being remastered versions of first gen series game red and blue. -

Pokémon Emerald version saw its release on the 16th of September, 2004 in Japan. -

Pokémon Platinum was released on September 13, 2008 in Japan. March 22, 2009 in America. -
