Early life
Tim Burton was born on August 25th, 1958, in Burbank, California. As a teenager, Tim Burton would make stop motion animation films in his backyard. One of his oldest films is "The Island of Doctor Agor" which he made when he was just 13 years old. -
beginning his career
Tim Burton first got recognized by Disney animation studios, and they offered him an apprenticeship. He worked as an animator, storyboard artist, graphic designer, art director, and concept artist for many films but most of his concepts never made it to finished films. His first film at Disney was based on one of his poems and was a black and white short film. -
