    This movement (Adventism) sprouted in 1830 centered around the return of Jesus Christ in 1834. After Christ failed to return Charles Taze Russell established himself as a independent teacher of Adventism.
  • The Creation

    Charles Taze Russell the founder of the religion started Jehovah's Witnesses by running curated bible studies in Pittsburgh. This was apart of the International Bible Studies Associations push towards the global reach of Christianity.
  • The Watchtowers Creation

    The Watchtowers Creation
    Russell formed the Watch Tower, which is the collection of the groups ideals formatted in booklet form. For example, if they decided to study genesis 1, they'd take this information and present it in their Watch Towers. After it's Creation the president transferred the headquarters to Brooklyn.

    The official title of Jehovah's Witness came when the president role changed from Russell to Joseph Franklin Rutherford. He gave the group the title of Jehovah's Witnesses as they believe in gods name being Jehovah or biblically Yahweh. This is when the organization became what we know today more or less.

    Jehovah Witnesses believe that the coming of days, or the end of the world was coming very soon. Through the bible they believe that the coming of dayss was not only 1925 but 1975 in which they were wrong.
