Men are forced to work at road camps or go to prisoner of war camps, women and children forced to detention camps in ghost towns. Some stay together and are sent to Alberta or Manitoba to work on farms. -

Order in Council 469 gave authorization for the government to sell properties left behind without owners consent. -
Guaranteed Expulsion
The RCMP made sure that all Japanese Canadians were exiled from BC either to Eastern Canada or Japan. -
