Hornbook
One of the earliest forms of instructional technologies, it contained letters of the alphabet and was placed on a wooden plate with a handle. It was mainly used to teach how to read. -
Sandbox
In early 1800's sandbox was used to teach the alphabet. Students would write the letters on the sand over and over again, as an instructional resource it was cheap and would never run out. -
The Blackboard
When it was first introduced, teachers did not use it effectively for a while because they did not know hot to implement and integrate it to the lessons.
