    Windows was founded on April 4, 1975 by Bill Gates, and Paul Allen. The first product produced by the two was a programming language known as BASIC. It was created for the Altair 8800 in 1975.

    The Windows 2.0 offered better features such as the addition of the Intel 286 processor. This helped by adding desktop icons, keyboard shortcuts, and improved graphics support.

    This was big step for Microsoft because it had better graphics with 16 colors designed for the Intel 386 processors. This version also included apps such as program manager, file manager, and print manager. Along with those came games such as hearts, minesweeper, and solitaire.

    This improved version offered a new user interface along with numerous improvements internally. The biggest thing was that it made the operating systems run much faster with the new 32-bit applications. This edition of the computer also had a helpful feature that detected and configured installed hardware.

    This software can connect to the internet, access files, printers, and network resources. There were four versions of this the Professional, the server, advanced server, and a data center version.

    The new features of the Windows 7 include multi-touch support, Internet Explorer 8, better performance and start-up time, Aero Snap, Aero Shake, support for hard disks, a new Windows Media Center, and improved security.

    This completely redesigned software implemented a touch screen interface that allowed the user to be more interactive. This version also included instant on capabilities where it started in seconds rather than minutes. They replaced the traditional OS look and feel to a newer Metro design interface that consisted of a start screen which was made up of live titles. This version also supports x86 PCs and ARM processors.

    The Windows 10 edition has faster start up time and you can resume where you were even after you logged off. There was also built in security to make your computer more secure.This version also includes a new and updated version of Microsoft Edge, and a new Microsoft browser. This update included all products of Microsoft that include tablets, any PC, phones, and Xbox consoles.
