The jazz singer was the first movie with sound. The actually sound itself didn't come inuntil the middle of the movie, when AL Jolson finally said these words "Wait a minute, wait a minute. You ain't heard nothin' yet!" It alos had songs in it, such as "Mammy" and "Toot Toot Tootsie, Goodbye' and "Blue Skies'. -

From the 1930's-1940's is what critiques call the Golden Age. Stars like Marilyn Monroe, and Clark Gable became very famous during these times. It was said to be the peak of the film industry. -
