    The first film ever made was the Horse in motion in 1878. Its origin was that a few people made a bet to see if a horse could have all 4 of its hooves off the ground. They ended up taking a bunch of photos similtamisly and flipped through the photos quick enough to see an allusion of the horse completely leaving the ground.

    Around the mid 1890s, Edison wanted people to see motion pictures In other places. However, the Lumber brothers created a projector that would show motion picture to an audience. As a result, When the short film the arrival of a train, people actually thought that the train was actually coming towards them.

    In 1903, the first narrative with a story was created. It was called the Great Train Robbery and was only about 12 minutes long. Even though it was short, it still told a good story with a short time.

    Around the early 1900s, the first movie theaters were called nickelodeons. They were the ideal place for producers to show their movies and make a lot of money. During 1910, they were averging over 26 million viewers a week.

    Eventually after all movies were silent, soon they're was music and eventually full fledged talking. This was impossible earlier because technology wasn't well developed enough to perform those task. by the late 1930s, silent production ended and now there was some kind of talking in movies.

    In 1939, 2 films introduced color, The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind. This was because they used a massive camera that would use specific lens to produce color. However this camera was hard to use and hard to get specific angles.

    In 1946, the first colored tv was released. Before this, inventors were experimenting with colors in cameras and in tvs. as a result now all movies and tvs are in color.

    in the 1990s, computer generated images were becoming an ideal tool to use instead of construction specific props for movies. This is what most movie producers rely on in order to make their movies stand out from others. the first movie to do this was Jurrasic park in 1993.

    In he 2000s, the transition from film to digital began. This was because it would be easier to distribute the film to movie theaters. The directors could just end up emailing the movie code, they put it in the computer and then they could play the movie in the theater.

    In April of 2019, Marvel's Avengers Endgame out sold Avatar and became the highest grossing film ever. It earned nearly around 3 billion dollars. Most of this came from opening weekend, giving it the best opening weekend ever.
